Vrsar
(1800 inhabitants), once a small fishing village on the hill overlooking the harbour now features a marina, hotels, tourist activities and camping sites, which stretch along the bank of the Limski Canal.  The steep banks of the Canal, reminiscent of a fjord are 11 km long and 120m deep. The area is a nature reserve and is famous for its Easter festival.

Visitors can enjoy solitary beaches, many naturist zones, fishing villages.  The major tourist attraction of Porec is close by.  In Istria you will find everything you could wish for in a holiday.  Away from the coast, there are small hillside towns, rocky outcrops, dense forests, mountains and fertile valleys, hence the reason why it is now being called the new Tuscany.  Cliffs feature along some of the coast and in the bays among the cliffs, there are secluded shingle beaches.
