Arrival by Car
If you are travelling to Croatia through
Slovenia from Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg,
Netherlands, Austria and Sweden for a visit of less than 90 days
you will require identity papers or passport or child’s identity
card with photo, drivers licence, vehicle log book and
international Green Card insurance.
Duty-free allowance is 200 cigarettes or 50
cigars or 250g pipe tobacco, l litre of wine and 1 litre cologne
or 1 small bottle perfume.
By car from Germany
Munich-Salzburg-Villach-Udine-Trieste-
following signs to SLOVENIA/Kopar, then follow signs for Porec,
Pula. Straight on after Porec to Vrsar. When you enter the
town, you will be met with the view as in the photo above.
Follow the road for 50 metres, the house is 7th on
the left. It is really easy to find. We have found this to be
the best route, but of course, you can travel via the Karawanken
tunnel.
By hire car from Trieste airport (other
flight possibilities to Venice Marco Polo and Venice Treviso):
Follow signs for Trieste on A4, then
SLOVENIA/Kopar, then follow signs for Porec, Pula. Straight on
after Porec to Vrsar. When you enter the town, you will be met
with the view as in the photo above. Follow the road for 50
metres, the house is 7th on the left. |
